A healthy, no-bake gluten and dairy-free recipe with no added refined sugar, these no-bake energy bites have plenty of taste!
I love no-bake recipes – especially when I don’t even have to use the stove-top or the microwave to heat things up. And if it’s healthy, even better!
I’m not sure where I found this recipe for no-bake energy bites – but it’s one of those healthy recipes that doesn’t use any added refined sugar. All natural ingredients again, not necessarily low calorie, but sure to be good for you!
As with most of these recipes – the sky is the limit for any substitutions you may want. If you want some chocolate flavors in there, try these oat balls … Don’t have peanut butter? Use almond butter, or cashew butter, or even sunflower seed butter, or tahini. Don’t have the chia seeds? Use pumpkin seeds, or whole flaxseeds. And feel free to experiment with other flavors in there – like maybe a pumpkin pie spice. Or nutmeg and cloves. Or ginger. Ok, now I’m just giving myself more ideas for new recipes!
But just try these no-bake energy bites out – and if you come up with another combination that you love – let me know in the comments below!
