Healthy brownie bites using only 4 ingredients – all natural, no added refined sugar … and YUMMY!
Brownies that are healthy? And yummy? Who would’ve thought?
These healthy brownie bites are AWESOME! Trust me, this is one healthy recipe you just have to try if you love brownies in any shape or form! Simply process walnuts, dates and some cocoa powder in a good food processor. Press the mixture into a baking pan and chill until hard. And eat to your hearts content … we keep these in the freezer, but you can figure out whether you like them really cold and hard, or slightly softer from the fridge.
Now you can either have these as a slice (like shown in the photo) or, if you’re more into the ball shape, feel free to shape into 1″ ball sizes before chilling. Either way – they’re yummy (or have I already said that enough times?)
I’ve used this healthy brownie bites recipe, or some variation of it, as the basis for several other things, such as my chocolate caramel slice, and if you add some almond milk to really blend the nuts well, it’s a chocolate version of my favorite frosting! Amazing what just some nuts and dates can make!
